APA|DC Presents: How I Shot This with Mike Morgan

APA | DC board member, Eli Meir Kaplan, chats with APA | DC chair Mike Morgan on how to photograph day for night.

About Mike Morgan:

My passion is creating memorable portraits and images that embody the heroism, vulnerability or humor of my subjects: evoking the sense of pride that comes from hard work, the courage of choosing to be an individual. I grew up on California's Central Coast and came east for college, but deeply identify with my roots: I've always felt the landscapes and solitude of places like Big Sur run through my work and have indelibly informed the way I look at the world, within the camera and without. I very much love what I do and though I'm based in the Baltimore/Washington DC region, I will travel anywhere for an interesting and challenging campaign. My clients will get images that bring a fresh and creative look to their publication, pictures with an edge. I live on Kent Island in the Chesapeake Bay. When I'm not at work I can be found hiking with a stack of good books.
