$10 for General Public + fees.

The Expert Series highlights the professionals who contribute to that growth, including specialists in lighting, locations, production, art buying, directing, and more. Each session​, hosted by Carleen Mitchell, features experts discussing their craft and sharing how meaningful collaboration with photographers strengthens every project.

Byron Nickleberry is a Los Angeles-born and raised stills lighting director and photographer. With over two decades of experience across fashion, music, and advertising, Byron uses lighting to bring emotion and visions to life. He has worked with iconic brands including Adidas, Uggs, Levi’s, Cartier, Skims, and Apple. Byron has lit numerous covers for Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, The Hollywood Reporter, Dazed, Variety, and others. With his deep knowledge of lighting and set experience, Byron is a highly sought after lighting director and standout creative force behind the lens. He collaborates with photographers, directors and creatives to produce images that are unforgettable! We are excited to share with you his expertise—on how to not only illuminate imagery but create a sensory story that will resonate with an audience.
