APA | DC and Prop Up Shop - How to Quote Like a Pro

APA | DC and Prop Up Shop are excited to announce their very first collaborative photography business & brunch event! This Baltimore event is open to emerging photographers, both APA & non-APA members, who are looking to specialize in food, beverage, product, lifestyle and/or portraiture shoots.

Our upcoming event will be a 'business of photography forum' lead by established, DC-based photographers and APA members, Laura Chase de Formigny & Mike Morgan. The main topics for this forum will be on building quotes, creating contracts, navigating licensing, and avoiding common pitfalls in securing and/or being paid by clients.

-Bagels, light brunch snacks, coffee and drinks will be provided.
-This event is limited to 20 participants and tickets will be verified at the door.
-APA members may register 48 hours prior to the general public.

About Prop Up Shop:
Prop Up Shop is prop & surface rental house and studio space geared for still life, tabletop and medium sized projects. Their collection consists of hundreds of tabletop, decorative objects, photo shoot surfaces, backdrops & seamlesses. It includes a mix of modern, rustic, vintage, handmade ceramic & artisanal wares. The Prop Up Shop studio is located in a former textile mill in the Hampden/Woodberry neighborhood.
