Creative Industry Community Meeting

3x2_graphic_community_071620.jpg

On June 23, APA|DC and the D.C. Chapter of American Marketing Association  (AMADC) hosted simultaneous community conversations addressing racial inequality and social justice in the DC creative community. Now is the time for us to come together and follow-up to take the conversation to the next level. Join us along with AMADC,  AAF DC and Capitol Communicator to continue the conversation on how we can collectively take action to further social justice in our industries. The event will be moderated by 3 panelists–one from each association–to help guide the discussion in a positive and productive manner.

Panelists:

Welton Doby III, Commercial Photographer

Doby, a D.C. native, has been a commercial photographer in the Mid-Atlantic region for decades.  His past and current client list includes Fortune 500 companies, advertising agencies, design firms, and associations. He is known and respected by clients and photographers alike for his top-notch imagery, integrity, and customer service. He is a member of both APA and ASMP, and also teaches the business of photography course at Montgomery College. His work can be found at www.dobyphoto.com.
